Portfolio > Hotmaths Widgets

THe Hotmaths online maths curriculum is supported by hundreds of interactive Flash activities called widgets. These widgets range from animations of stepped processes, that allow users to proceed at their own pace, through to interactive simulations that allow users to construct their own understanding by modifying parameters and exploring the consequences. Examples include algebraic animations, a virtual Abacus, graphics calculators and 3D shape explorers.

Our Role

Gamelearn is the sole developer of widgets for Hotmaths and over the last few years has produced several hundred widgets.

From specifications provided by Hotmaths, we develop and test the widgets ready for deployment to the website. We are also given freedom to add value to the widgets by modifying the specifications if we are able to devise a more effective way of demonstrating the content or of making the interactions more appealing to the user.
